La Société Centrale de Réassurance -The Central Company of Reinsurance- (SCR) was created in 1960 through a convention between the State and la Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion - Funds of Deposit and Management- (C.D.G), was modified and renewed on November 28, 2000.

SCR offers reinsurance covers for all risks (all branches IARD, Life, Aviation, Marine.....etc.).

In addition to the management of compulsory businesses which account for 60% of its total portfolio, SCR practices purely conventional operations, of which 21% are made up of foreign businesses.
